If there is one thing I love to collect, it definitely is makeup brushes. I can’t help it, I just have this compulsive need to purchase and collect every brush on the market, much to the peril of my savings account! I purchased the original Nude by Nature Professional Brush Kit years and years ago – what a throwback – I absolutely love it and still use many of those brushes to this day! So I picked up their new(ish) Essential Collection Brush Set so if they are still as good quality. And here are my thoughts.
I have always wanted to try the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops because, being so pale, I always struggle to find foundations light enough and without pink undertones! But being prepared to pay an arm and a leg for it is another story! So I just could not resist buying the Australis Match Maker Shade Adjusting Drops when they launched! I purchased these quite a while ago, and have definitely put these through their paces by testing them with all sorts of foundations. Here are my thoughts!
Now that Colourpop has introduced free international shipping (over $50 USD) I am definitely spending more than I should be! While my savings are dwindling, my collection of Colourpop’s eyeshadows continue to grow, and grow, and grow some more! I absolutely loved Kathleen’s Where The Light Is eyeshadow collection, and so here are my thoughts in regard to her Where The Night Is collection!
The Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment has been one of those products that I have had on my wish list for years, but have never actually purchased… and for the price, I think you can understand why I have never gotten around to buy it! While I was away on a family vacation, I managed to grab a sample, and so here are my thoughts!
It seems like it was only yesterday that I was starting my final year of schooling.. and now Christmas is only around the corner! Some of you may be super organised around this time of year, but if you’re like me and have no idea on what to get everyone (and hast left everything to the last minute) here are some of my beauty orientated gift ideas that will get you through the festive season – and won’t break the bank!
So a little more than a month ago I managed to convince the fam to take me to Pacific Fair shopping centre in QLD whilst we were on our holiday! If you haven’t been there, GO, GO, GO, GO, GO! Sephora! Mecca Cosmetica! you name it, they pretty much have it! I have tried a sample of the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer which I received in one of my mecca orders, and I loved it! So, while I was in Mecca, I was like; why not by another one… and then share my thoughts with you!
When I heard that ColourPop had free international shipping on any order over $50 (US dollars) I was like YES YES YES YES YES and decided to spend some money! I have heard nothing but good things about ColourPop’s eyeshadows, and I absolutely loved the shades in the Kathleen Lights Where The light Is collection, so of course, I picked one up! Here are my thoughts!
Okay, first up; please excuse me for being absent for the last couple of months! I decided to take a lil break to focus on my final exams. Anyway, I have finallllyyyyyy finished year 12 so I will definitely be back to my usual around here! Anyway, with all my frequent online orders, I accumulate a lot of cosmetic samples! I decided to make them worthwhile, and so I have constructed a series of mini reviews… Welcome to Sample Scrutiny, the Mecca Hydrating Primer edition!
I have wanted to try this forever, but willing to spend $72 on an eyeshadow palette is another story! For my birthday I decided to treat myself, and so I splurged on the famous cult favourite; the Too Faced Chocolate Bar eyeshadow palette! And now… I definitely understand why this is so highly raved about!
